GalleryRemote 1.5 und OpenSuSE 10.03

Das Uploadprogramm GalleryRemote 1.5, das ich hier zum Bilderupload in unser Fotoalbum, das unter Gallery läuft, lässt sich unter OpenSuSE 10.03 nicht installieren. Der Installer bricht mit haufenweise Fehlermeldungen ab:

Offenbar ein Kompatibilitätsproblem der GLIBC Bibliothek. Zum Glück gibt es auch noch andere Leute, die sich damit herumärgern durften. Interessanterweise funktioniert die Lösung, die im Ubuntuforum angegeben ist, unter OpenSuSE 10.03 ebenfalls:
